Went for a 5-6 mile walkabout with Andy - and Dan from the UK that lives in Singapore. Had some great views of the Kathmandu Valley and distant views the Himalayas.
Walked through forests, along fields of rice, through villages, along remote roads, through alleys and up and down steep hills.
Came back, showered and had a much needed beer (Everest, a lager) then walked around Baktapor with a guide for 2.5 hrs.
Everyone is unbelievably friendly and many, many people speak English. Eveyone says "Hi" when they pass.
